Here's my post... for one and for all.
I go to Mount Ida College (
http://www.mountida.edu ) . We do not have any sororities or fraternities. A friend of mine, and myself, we are interested in starting a local sorority that is unaffiliated with NPC. I contacted the NPC and they told me that the name of the sorority I want to start, Sigma Kappa Epilson Pi, is unaffiliated with NPC or any other NPC chapter.
SKEPi, regardless where it's a "sorority" or a "woman's group" is a service and social organization. We would like to plan events for the Mount Ida campus, events for the community of Newton, and for the Sisters themselves.
I am a little bit worried that my school will not recognize us as a "sorority". There are 4 Greek Honor Socities at my campus. Whether they use Greek letters or not, we call ourselves SKEPi.
Mount Ida used to be all female.
