I agree with all of ya: Todays' mainstream rap and r&b music is often tasteless, non-thought provoking, and a waste of my time and money.
Luckily, artists like Jill Scott (I constsntly bump her CD EVERYWHERE I go)
, Jamiroquai, Erykah Badu (I'm waitin' for "Mama's Gun" too), Blackstar, etc. are "Keeping Hope Alive."
BTW, Musiq's Cd came out yesterday (I think...). Did anyone pick it up? What do ya think of it?
