I'd have to totally disagree. I remember
a LOT of girls wearing Lilly dresses during rush, especially for the 2nd round. One of the first things I did in the week after bid day is tag along with a group of sisters who were going to Saks because Lilly's were on sale that week. They make excellent dresses for Monday Night Dinners and alumnae tea's as well.
SC can be very superficial, but it is also fairly casual, and that is why Juicy and Seven and Miss Sixty and other ritzy jeans and "hang out" clothes are so popular. But as far as Prada and Louis Vuitton, you see a lot of their purses but never really any of their clothes. That is probably why there aren't a lot of Lilly dresses around campus either because it is often too laid back for sundresses!
