Oh yes, I can definitely see this. One of my good friends can hardly write a paragraph correctly, it personally drives me insane. (Mid-Childhood Lang. Arts here....)
At Rio we actually have courses called, "Read & Learn" and "Reading Comprehension". Basically these are things that incoming students should have already learned in high school.
