I work at a summer camp, and today I had a convo with one of the kids about KD! Yestrday we were talking about Legally Blonde 2, and she said something about Delta Nu and sororities. I told her I was in one. Well today, she starts asking me all these questions and tells me that her mom was a Tri Sigma. She's like "what are your colors?" And I told her, and she's like "I like that much better than my mom's, purple and white." Then she started going on about how her mom's pin had a pirate's skull and crossbones on it and had boring pearls. I was like "Ours is diamond shaped and it has a dagger on it." Her friend was like "what's a dagger?" and I go "it's like a knife, and it's one of our symbols. But our pins can also have diamonds and emeralds around it." That won her over. She's like "Diamonds and emeralds, I want to be a Kappa Delta!" She's like 11 and too cute! I want all my little camp girls to go KD!
