I obtained my BA in Mass Communications in May 2002 and will complete my M.Ed. in Educational Administration (Higher Education) in May 2004. Having attended an HBCU and studied issues in higher education in my current program, I see myself using my degrees to better the HBCU system. I plan on obtaining my Ph.D. eventually and afterwards teach, but as an administrator I hope to be able to do some work in recruitment/retention as well as work on (minority) college prep issues at the K-12 level.
