I think that's exactly the point. She died for a cause that she believed in. That's not stupid. There are plenty of people out there who have done the same and were definitely NOT stupid: some of those in the Civil Rights movement, or Gandhi's followers, for example. And comparing her to the suicide bombers is ridiculous because, as I said, she didn't kill anybody but herself. The tragedy of suicide bombers is not that they're killing themselves to make a point, but that they're taking other innocents down with them.

Just because someone does not hold the same values as you does not make them stupid, it only makes them different.
