4-1-1 ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 7, 2003

Another music giant died last week. Songwriter/Producer Skip Scarborough lost his battle with cancer on July 3rd. Skip was a great songwriter who wrote “Love Ballad” for LTD, “Can’t Hide Love” and “Love’s Holiday” for Earth Wind and Fire, “Lovely Day” for Bill Withers, “Don’t Ask My Neighbors” for The Emotions, “The Answer Is You” for Phyllis Hyman, and “Giving You The Best I Got” for Anita Baker. Skip was very talented and he gave us great songs that are still played on the radio today.
