I suppose I would identify most to the late Ms. Lucy Diggs Slowe. After her mother died, she worked her way through school, and became very successful. She was known to have so many activities/projects going on simultaneously and was known for her organizational skills. She was very studious and responsible even while she was in undergrad, and was recognized for this by her faculty and peers.

I can totally relate to her being that sometimes, I feel like I took on too much independence at a young age. My peers and elders often do look at me and say, "Girl, I wonder how you manage to do it." I can see myself being a self-made success like Ms. Slowe, and becoming revered for all of my hard work.
