I remember when my aunt took my sister, cousin and I to the white house for the annual Easter egg hunt. We waited in line for about three hours but it was worth it. It was crazy. kids everywhere, games wooden eggs etc. I still love going there. Maybe I'll take my nephew this year.
A somewhat Easter related memory is when me and a friend found some candy in the basement of my house. We opened the pack and he took the purple one and I took a red one. His mouth started turning purple. Of course mine started turning red. Scared that we were going to die, we ran upstairs to our moms who went crazy. Turns out we ate Easter egg dye.
My mom knew it was non-toxic but my aunt called the CDC anyway. It was quite an event. Even though we didn't get sick, we got that whoopin anyway.
Moral: Don't eat candy from the ground!
