My fondest Easter Memories....ah, so many....in the days of my youth
*Going shopping for an Easter Sunday dress, bonnet, and shoes
*Preparing for the Easter Sunday Play that I always had a "part"
*Practicing my "part" with my Dad
*My mom pressing my hair
*The compliments and kisses of the senior saints as my sister and I marched into the sanctuary with our cute and frilly Easter dresses
*The Big Dinner at my grandmothers (yes, uh, complete with the mac and cheese, candied yams, ham, turkey, biscuits, sweet potato pie, collard greens, etc.)
*Watching "Jesus of Nazareth" the week before Easter with my grandmother.
*Playing in my Easter dress after church in my grandparents front yard. At which time, I'd have to change into my "play clothes".
