I am first to admit that I'm not a KOBE fan either, but I have to admit that this seems real shady. Plus, the DA didn't even issue/ok the arrest warrent, the sheriff went to the jucdge directly. To my understanding the DA gives the ok when he/she feels confident that the evidence would substantiate arrest and conviction.... no DA wanting to avoid being dragged through the mudd by lawyers (... with a good claim to misconduct by the district attorney's and sheriff's office)would sit on the sidline and not approve a convictable arrest. If the DA felt that the evidence was compelling he would have gotten the arrest warrent himself. Denver has so many loosly lettered laws that if you jaywalked they can more than likely charge you with something.... I think that this is smoke and mirrors and once the DA takes the time to go through the evidence he will make the decision to proceed or let it go... the problem is that the DA should have done that first. Kobe probably will get off, though he might have done that in the first place

Either way, I would sue the hell out of the city mainly the sherrif for abuse of power and the girl for slander and libel, if the aligations are false.

If they are true.....eeeeeuuuwwwwwww KOBE you're gonna get it!
