I grew up in Connecticut but now live in Arkansas. I've lived in both for about equal times.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THE NORTH: lots of snow, great seafood, GREAT arts programs in schools(especially music...at least where I was from), diversity, and non-humid summers
WHAT I HATE ABOUT THE NORTH: rude people
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THE SOUTH: friendly people (people will wave at you even if you don't know them), southern cuisine(gotta love catfish and hushpuppies, and greens, and all that good fattening stuff

WHAT I HATE ABOUT THE SOUTH: the horrible humid summers, it's hard to find seafood, people are more closed minded, the racism, and the morons who fly their little rebel flags
