I gave this a little thought (about a minute) last night after reading the thread the first time and decided I was wrong.
So, I can buy the Carnation/Sally Field comparison since someone who has either seen a picture of or met Carnation says it's true.
However, I've decided that since JAM and Mrs. DeltAlum apparantely have a fair amount in common (gathered from past posts), they probably resemble each other somewhat...
So...
JAM looks like Diana Rigg, the British actress who played Emma Peale in the Avengers TV series some years ago. In her "prom queen" picture in her HS yearbook, Mrs. DA is a dead ringer for Rigg. By the way, what I first said about "classy and comportment" still goes since I think Rigg is/has both.
JAM, you do drive a Lotus Elan, don't you?
