We saw the Columbus Crew tie the hated Dallas Burn on Saturday, then the US Men's National Team beat Paraguay 2-0 yesterday. It was something like 101° on the field, but more like 94-95° in the stands.

We tailgated, then sat with Sam's Army, a first for me. It was an experience I'll not soon forget!

I was slathering SPF #30 on every 10 minutes religiously, and was still pretty burned. I guess that's why everyone wears red - so you can't tell how badly you're burning!

Just wanted to see if anyone else was there!
The whole weekend was awesome. I met honey thru BigSoccer, and she got me into this (blame her )

The Dallas/Columbus game was rather dull. But when you're a Fire fan and appear in such clothes, and get wth other Fire fans and cheer when the announcer screen says that the player of the week is your foward Ante Razov it gets wild.

Sam's Army was great. I learned a valuable lesson. NEVER STAND NEAR THE CONFETTI BAG!

I got a "She's got dandruff" chant from the fellow supporters.
