My advice (keep in mind that I'm from the Midwest, SEC rush is a strange thing to me) would be to stay open minded through the whole thing. It's f-ing awesome that you are going through with an open mind.

Any of these groups could be a great fit for you, so you need to find that fit. Do some research, find out GPA's, activities, philanthropy events, and intramural involvement, as well as anything else you might deem important (social calendar, house situation/location, whatever...) When you've got that information for as many of the houses as possible, look for the houses that meet your criteria in those areas. By using the objective data that can't be faked you should be able to narrow down your choices to ones that seem to share your priorities.

You may not care that much about a house with great grades but doesn't play many intramurals, or you could be more in tune with a chapter that does a lot of community service but isn't big on campus involvement. Remember when narrowing down your choices it should be about what YOU (and only you) are looking to get out of a fraternity experience. Once you think you have it narrowed down to a group of houses, then it is time to see how you mesh with the brothers of that house, which should be teh deciding factor in your decision.

If you find several houses that seem to have priorities similar to yours than I'm absolutely certain you will find a place to call home, and organization that you will care about for the rest of your life.
