Here are a few from my "list"
Keep in mind that it is imperative to ask these questions (at least the most important ones)when you first meet. Unlike Chris Rock ("when you meet someone you don't meet them, you meet their representative!"), I believe you probably get the most honest answer from someone in that initial conversation. Simply because they have no idea what you like or dislike, yet? Just a thought, now with that said here we go:
1. Do you have a career? If not, then do you have a job? How long have you been working there? (stability, yall)
2. In what salary range are you ? 30,000 - 40,000...41,000 - 50,000...etc. (for financial compatibility, who wants to take care of someone)
3. Do you live alone/roommate/with parents/siblings?
4. Do you/have you ever used drugs? any type
5. What is your belief on religion? Are you an active member of any church/temple/synague (sp?)?
6. What are your goals? Long and short term? ( really important)
7. Where were you educated? Did you graduate/what kind of student were you?
8. Are you homosexual/bisexual/homophobic?'
9. What are your prejudices? (come on now we all have some)
10. Any children/suspected children/expecting a child? If so, do you support them financially/emotionally? Do they live with you/how often do you see them?
11. Are you in a relationshop now? or sleeping with anyone? How do feel about your previous relationship? Are you bitter? How long have you been single? ( don't want no hostile, angry, scorn bag handlers,ya know!)
12. Tell me about your parents, siblings?
Where is your family from? Were you born here/are you a US citizen?
13. What was the last gift you bought/and for whom?
14. What books/newspapers/magazines do you read? What programs do you watch?
15. How often do you socialize? Where do you go? Do you travel?
16. Any STD's, past & present? Any former lovers with STD's/any illnesses?
17. Ever been to jail/accused of a crime/or committed a crime and not been caught?
18. How is your credit? Proof?
19. What kind of car do you drive? Where do you live? (shows priorities, if he lives in the PJ's and drives a Lexus, Benz, Beamer, then his priorites are not in order) Or if he drives a great car, lives in a great neighborhood, but is sitting on crates in his living room, his priorities are not in order!!!
20. Ever sought/recieved psych treatment? do friends and family suggest you do?
21. Ever hit a woman?
22. How do you feel about voting/death penalty/the president/abortion/marriage & family/legalization of marijuana/stealing/criminal activity?
23. What are your views on morality/ethics,etc?
Sorry for the long post but "the list" goes on and on. And yes, I actually have a book with this "list" in it?
