I'm fundraising in my chapter too...Garage sales work great and so do carwashes, but they are so out played...
I heard from a sister that another Phi Sig chapter (I think it was the chapter from FIU) did something called "Princess for a Day"...I would love to try it out for my chapter but I'm afraid because we don't have a house and we're only 15 sisters...but basically you make flyers and pass them around town or in preschool and/or elementary schools. The girls say from age 4-7 will get a make-over (makeup, hair, and nails) the parents can bring a cute outfit for their child to wear. At the end of the day, the children put on a fashion show to show their cute look off...Each child can cost $15 or $20 to get the makeover and participate in a show. Have someone take pictures of each child as they are on stage and you can get or make cute little picture frames and send the picture with a note saying "Thank you for allowing your daughter to take part in our fundraiser". Blah Blah Blah lol...I think it's adorable. :-P If you try this out let me know!
