Well, if she really is well-known as a total fruit loop, then maybe most people know she isn't really a Phi Mu.
I'll grant that it is one thing if someone is trying be, as someone called it, a "perp." But I am
not going to get at all bent out of shape over a homeless or financially-strapped person who shops at Goodwill wearing my letters. Among the values that my fraternity (not to mention, my religion) teaches is concern for others (not just my brothers) and their wellbeing, even if that concern is at my own expense. I assume most GLOs espouse a similar value. When I see someone down on their luck wearing letters (or more likely, a tee-shirt from a Greek event), I'm just glad they have clothes to wear. I save embarresment for other things.
