Perhaps it would have honored Richard Harris in some way -- can't say I see it, but I won't argue the point.

But do remember that she had the plot of all 7 books sketched out in a fair amount of detail before she wrote Harry 1 (as the publishers call it). I imagine that it would difficult if not impossible, and probably dangerous, to rework the overall plot now, since Harry 1-4 are all predicated on and contain foreshadowing of her original plot.
