If you get an aquatic turtle, just make sure you have a good filter and a UV lamp, and a place for him to get out of the water and bask in the lamp. Actually any turtle will need the UV lamp, it keeps them healthy and happy. My turtle is SO cute, and he actually has a personality... he lets you know when he wants food by looking up at you and splashing in the water by waving his front legs
