I tend to be a cynic about schemes like Color Me Beautiful. For example, my sister and I both have blue eyes, pale pale skin, and the same shade of blonde hair. Yet we can't wear any of the same colors (well, except maybe black). The difference is in our skin tones. CMB doesn't account for that.
If it works for you, by all means take its advice. But I don't think it's that hard to just look at yourself with a color on and and see if you look ill or great!
