Just a question though, i've heard several of you say that TNX is the first new sorority at Pitt in 14 years (I may have seen a couple different numbers, not sure)....
But Sigma Delta Tau was recolonized (originally colonized in 1950, not sure when it went dormant) at Pitt in 1994 or 1995 (in their stairwell in Amos they have the names of the founding class and the dates).
Make sure you get in touch with the new greek advisor whenever she starts her postion, I'm really hoping for good things from her!

Well the fact there are two dates for when it was colonized, the original and then the recolonization makes the situation a little confusing.
But, it all depends on what happened like if they were kicked off and then started over in 1994 or 95 that would mean they had to start from scratch, but if their membership just dropped off and they started it up again it means that it never left and we would still be the first in 14. . .I've also heard 17 but don't know if that's true. Even if the later date is taken, it still means we are the newest one in 8 or 9 years, and currently the first and only multicultural sorority!
And, this new greek advisor sounds interesting, hopefully she'll be better than other people. . .
