With all due respect, chapters of national GLO's differ from each other sometimes as much as nationals do. There have been many instances where even though the national board of a GLO is against hazing, a certain chapter has had its charter revoked due to hazing (this has happened several times at my school). Yet whenever that happens, people don't automatically jump to conclusions and assume that all the members of the GLO are bad and condone hazing, they just think that that one chapter was a bad seed. My point is that people group all locals together and take us all to be the bad seeds if one chapter of a totally unrelated GLO screws up.

I don't think anybody on here was doing that - this argument has been had before. People were saying "The locals
at my school do blah blah blah..." which is equivelant to saying "The chapter of QVC at my school..." I wouldn't assume anything about a local I know nothing about. However, I can name about 10 locals off the top of my head in Wisconsin that DO haze and embarass the Hell out of other GLOs. Yes, I realize there are nationals that haze - that happens on campuses besides yours. However, I don't think anybody came on here and said "Every single local in the whole world hazes because the one on my campus does." That would be like saying "Every single Gamma Phi Beta is beautiful because the ones at Miami are." It's flawed logic. We were all relating stories about our campus. If you re-read my post, I said that locals differ from campus to campus because they are local and have no national board. Nowhere did I say they are horrible terrible hazers because they have no national board. Don't infer things into posts that aren't there. I was trying to make the point that I was not talking about all locals, but rather the ones at Wisconsin - Platteville.
