I think the overall caliber of the Membership is what initially captivated me about the Organization of my interest. Being from a West Indian/Caribbean background I don't have any family members in BGLOs however a lot of my parents friends, fellow church patrons and especially my high school teachers were/are a members and they were all very influential my life in a variety of ways via Jr. AKA, community service projects, mentoring, etc. The older I got the more research I did on my own which confirmed my belief in my desire to join.
