Don't you just love "legalspeak?" I would just charge them with hazing and inflicting pain.
The title of the thread is unfortunate, but also obviously a reply to the previous thread about hazing being a term for "white kids" or something like that. As I recall, though, the member who originated the later thread was quoting (?) an article which was part of the post.
