Umm, I've never really considered Brooks Brothers to be a high end store. I don't know where you'll be working, but consider whether how you dress really matters. If it's for school events, random things, a couple interviews, etc. then Men's Wearhouse will do. It probably will last many years if you don't wear it often (I'd probably say 6-7 years).

Brooks Brothers is an average kind of store. For me it's important what kind of fabric i have in a suit and how well it breathes. Also, it's important the cut I get in the suit. If you really have some money to blow look at Brioni and Kiton. For shirts, I'd look at Thomas Pink and Charvet.
