Soror DiscoGoddess, I will have to agree to disagree. There is nothing that can be said that will make me think that a human's life is just as important as an animal's. And if that viewpoint just gave parents a "bum rap" - to all of the parents - sorry. Perhaps it will take being a parent to understand this.
As far as drafting nonparents simply because they have no children (which I don't believe is right)- I didn't touch that area which is why my post said "Let me step even further into this argument".
Thank-you Conskeeted. I've been on both sides of the coin as well. And ironically, my view was the same before I was a parent.
