I have a feeling that we'll be linking a ton of unsolved murders in the coming months. Mari Ann Fowler's fingernails left at the scene of the attack are being examined by the same new DNA test that linked DeSoto and Lee.
At first I thought that there had to be at least one other serial killer- the one we know of, then the one who killed the BR joggers- Schmitt and Boisfontane. Then the killer who killed the prostitutes. However, I just found an article on one prostitue, Lillian Robinson. Is it just me, or were these deaths not as publicized as someone with a pretty face who would make a better story.
I would speculate that there are at least a dozen connected to Lee (If Lee is truly our SK). The six that we now know of, plus Christine Moore, Randi Mebruer, Connie Warner, Mari Ann Fowler.

St. Martin officials look for tie
between unsolved case, serial killer
WBRZ staff report
The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office has shared evidence with the serial killer task force which may link an unsolved murder to that of the five confirmed victims of the killer.
Sheriff Michael Patin said similarities in the cases led his office to suspect that Lillian Robinson may have been killed by the same man. Robinson's nude body was found three years ago near Whiskey Bay just like two other confirmed serial killer victims.
Robinson disappeared from Baton Rouge's Melrose East neighborhood in January 2000 and a month later, a fisherman discovered her badly decomposed body 4 miles west of Whiskey Bay.
No DNA evidence is available in the case, but St. Martin chief of detectives Major Butch Dupuis said the similar profile to where she was found, she was nude and the type of death -- the cause of death is similar to the other ones. It's something that we definitely want to look at and present.
Robinson is among several Baton Rouge prostitutes whose murders have been unsolved. Robinson's family feels that she may have made an easy target for the serial killer in the start. We believe that the guy started out with easy targets and it got too easy for him, said Pat Dawson, Robinson's sister. And I think he felt like he needed to be challenged a little bit more, so he started targeting women that would not agree to just go with him.
Baton Rouge Police Chief Pat Englade confirmed that the serial killer task force detectives are looking Robinson's case and that they feel her death is not connected to the other prostitute murders.
