I would want my hypothetical future children to attend the school that suits their academic and extracurricular needs the best - whether they have AEPhi or not, whether they even have a greek system or not. If they do, well, so much the better.
One of my sisters, whose aunt is an AEPhi, told me that her aunt would only let her daughters apply to colleges with AEPhi chapters.
None of them actually went AEPhi, though.
