Let me just tell my lil Getting-the-Book story.
So I get to Wal-Mart at 6:10 am, 10 mins after they open. I immediately see 2 different people exiting the store, each with 2 copies. So I go in, and I am looking EVERYWHERE for it. I'm not familiar with this Wal-Mart, I prefer Target. I finally find the book section, and I see the first 4 HP books, but not the 5th one. So I ask the cashier. She has this amused look and says, "Wow, so many people have been buying two copies of it already today." The store has only been open now for 15 minutes!
Obviously, I was not the only person with this idea to go at the crack of dawn
So the cashier tells me to ask this other lady, so I go ask her, and she points to a table covered with copies of the book--- RIGHT BY THE ENTRANCE I WALKED IN!!!! I felt like a complete moron, said thanks, and got my copy. I go back to the cashier and pay for it, and she again seems amazed that this book is so popular. I just think it's funny... all these cashiers at places like Wal-Mart and Target today who don't yet understand the appeal of Harry Potter have GOT to be sooo confused!
Now, I am at work and will be all day, so I won't get to start reading till this evening
