I have cream leather couches and use leather cleaner and conditioner on them regularly. A few years ago I discovered a secret leather cleaner though:
IVORY SNOW
Just mix it with water and use a sponge and you won't believe the way it cleans the leather. Wipe an area clean and immediately follow it with a dry towel to wipe the wetness away. Do not allow the water to sit on the leather.
Follow it with a leather conditioner. I buy my leather conditioner at Pep Boys b/c they sell huge containers for fairly inexpensive for car leather conditioning.
