After graduating from college, I moved from New York City to the Carribean to be with the love of my life. I was "lectured" by my family and everyone else and their mother about how "unlady-like" it was to "chase" after a man and that I was "raised better than that".
Dang! It's not like I wasn't invited.
Anyway, I was kinda worried that things wouldn't work out. I even opened a special savings account once I got here to be used in case I had to flee, I mean, leave in a rush. (My grandmother's advice) I'm happy to say that it's six years later and we're doing great. We're going house "shopping" next week!
