Are you not suppoesed to 'consult' with your chapter because if disafiliation rules? If so, go to your greek advisor and ask what you can do to get the information you need.

If she's just worried that your website will sudenly turn into an extention of your chapter's site, do your best to ensure that it's not. Pick colors that arn't yours (even if they're the best colors you can think of), etc. Big one -- make sure you list chapters in alphabetical order. That way, if someone doesn't like where thier chapter is you can always say "hey, it's alphabetacal."

However, her sending an e-mail as a rant is completely uncool. Send her an e-mail back saying that while you apreciate any input that would improve the site, you would apriciate it in the future if she aproached the situation in a more professional way. If she continues to act like that via e-mail, take it up with your greek advisor.

As for the NPC vs College Panhellenic ... she does have a point. NPC is National Panhellenic, and you're a college panhellenic. Just use the find& replace feature of whatever editor you're using to fix that, it'll make it go a lot faster. We do any banners at the top of the page as "DePaul Panhellenic Council" and the abriviation as DPC.

That being said, any work on a website for a group can be problematic. Here's what I've been doing to ensure that the work I'm doing on my school's panhellenic page goes as smoothly as possible:

1) check with your greek advisor to find out what you have to do to talk to people durring disafilliation, should communication become nessesary.

2) hold a planning meeting with anyone that's interested to ensure that the layout and information you have planned works for everyone and to smooth out as many bugs as possible. Trust me, someone saying "this has to be changed for X reason" goes over a lot better in person, as do any statements you make about how you WILL have the site.

3)Keep key people updated about site progress and what you need to complete the site.

Hope some of that was helpful!
