The other two who 'bought the farm' with Buddy Holly in Cedar Lake, Iowa 'the day the music died' were Ritchie Valens (
La Bamba, Donna) and J.P. 'The Big Bopper' Richardson (
Chantilly Lace). Waylon Jennings was supposed to have been on the airplane but traded spaces with Richardson.
