Fun news on the book:
I'm getting mine on June 14.
Anyone who's read my incessant nerdy ramblings knows that I review books for
AOL BookReporter. I got a note from my editor about two weeks ago approving me to review OotP, and originally, her assistant told me that I'd have the book by June 18. About three days ago, he emailed me and said, "Scholastic is overnighting you a copy by courier on Saturday the 14th." That's the good news.
The bad news: I can't breathe a word about the book to anyone, or loan out my copy, or publish any thoughts on the book or any part of my review until midnight on the 21. If I do otherwise, I could be sued by Scholastic and J.K. Rowling. Scary stuff. Scholastic has an embargo out on the book. Libraries have to catalog them behind locked doors and keep the books in locked cupboards until they're ready to circulate. (Libraries have to receive their books early so there's time to cover, barcode, and catalog them before the pub date).
tinydancer: Voldemort is not going to be played by anyone in Prisoner of Azkaban, because he's not in that book. Did you mean Goblet of Fire?
