The one thing that really helped my old chapter hold together was having an advisor. One of the women from the chapter that sponsored our FV served as our advisor for the first year, and we loved having her around so much, we begged her to stay a second year. It was nice to have someone who had been there, done that around to help us out when we needed it. I know there aren't any other chapters around you, but is there possibly an MAL around the area who might be interested in helping out?
Another suggestion would be to become a career chapter if NH isn't one already. It seems like y'all are all such busy people, that it might ease the burden some to go career
