Have you tried contacting international yet? California has a very large BSP membership and I know that there are several chapters in the San Francisco area. I don't know anyone personally from any of the chapters, but they are out there!
My chapter is in Yuba City, CA about 2.5 hours away from SF. You're welcome to come see us if you don't mind the drive.
