Another thing to keep in mind is that sometimes alumnae will be around and available to lend you space.
Don't forget about alumnae associations-- post to the Pride Online or to the groups.msn.com/alphadeltapi boards, and you should get some additional offers of space.
From PA I'd think you would likely take 80/90 at least through Chicagoland, which would take you past Valpo, but they're about 30 mins away from the I-road and don't have a house and don't really have an on-campus corridor next year. Dunno whether you'd take the same route from Boston or not.
Heck, pop it into mapquest and see what it suggests for fastest route, and start from there?
