This year is my second time being Maid of honor and this time is much more expensive that the first. My first time, the dress was bought JCPenny's, a floral pattern. It as very low key, as the family and none of us had much money. This time, the bride's family is much more well off, so the standards are much higher. The dress + shoes was about $200+, but luckily I didn't ave to pay for it. If I did, I would have had to step out of her wedding. I am throwing the bridal shower and Bachelorette party in two weeks, on the same day and I have no idea where I'm going to get money to do that! It's kind of hard when your a full time student and haven't worked in 6 weeks...Maybe next time I'll give it a little more thought before I say yes....
