My dad was one of those guys who saw something he liked, and bought it - he was really hard to shop for. With that, I'll leave two suggestions:
a) Find out his favorite type of socks or underwear, and replace the whole drawer, throwing out the old stuff (that isn't "sentimental" - Daddy has his favorite golf socks). Who wouldn't love a drawer full of brand new undergucci's?
b) Whatever you decide to buy, write a sincere note or letter. Last year, I told him how so many people have fathers who are or are not a big part of their lives, but I was especially blessed by having a Daddy. He cried.
My Daddy passed away suddenly in August, and that note was at the top of his dresser drawer. I will be forever grateful that I told him how much I loved him while I could!
Happy Father's Day, y'all!
