As I read her post, it made me think of how people beleive that AKA's and DST's hate each other. I feel that Kwikwit or whatever her name is felt like the Delta's were going to have a condescending tone towards our wonderful sisterhood. She did not get the expected response. She probably tried to get accepted to our sorority and got a resounding NO and is now bitter. Some people don't care about the particular sorority; they just want to be greek. If I would not have pledged AKA, I would not be greek. Some folks just want the letters! Hey sorors "Shake them haters off" LOL
Skeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I work with a person like this. At first she asked me questions about when, where, and how about AKA. I told her she needs to wait for info given during rush. She said her aunt is an AKA in another city so she was really interested. The next time I saw her she was saying a person who works with us and who is a DST said she could sponsor her. Mind you--the DST and I are very good friends. I was like okay--whatever. Then the next week she came back and said since the DSTs were not having a line, she would have to go AKA. (Mind you--this lady is in her 40's and interested in undergrad.) She was still trying to get whatever info. She also knows AKAs in my grad chapter so I told her to call whomever and speak directly to them and walked out of the room. (Mind you--also-that the undergrad chapter is our baby and where I came through. In fact, I still have ls in the chapter.) I looked at her like she was crazy because she does'nt know any better. I spoke to my DST friend who looked a bit disgusted. I also later talked to the Soror I knew she called. Soror said she might go to the city her aunt is in but noway--nohow is she coming through here. All she wants is the letters no matter what they are. We don't need people like that in our organization.
