I'll speak from the veiwpoint of an alum.
Part of the reason I'm at this board is because I want to continue to be involved in A Phi. Though I graduated 5 years ago, I still want to help out the college scene.
However, I'm now living in a different state from where I was initiated. I don't know where any houses are around here.
If a local chapter contacted me, I would go over and assist in a second.
The problem is: I don't know where they are, and they don't know that I'm sitting here ready to help out.
