I must say that I am guilty of that. A few times, the person that I may have met online became annoying, they would IM me every single time I was online. Sometimes a person just wants to be left alone. I never did figure out how to hide myself, you know, when I was online. The same thing happens through regular email. Sometimes I just don't want to be bothered.
