1. hated it sometimes, loved it other times. I always dreamed of an older brother.

2. Lonely, sometimes. I learned to be self-sufficient. But the "sisterhood" of a sorority really appealed to me.

3. Spoiled, oh yah. I'm still daddy's girl (even though I'm 33). But, I never did anything to get in a lot of trouble so they didn't have a real reason to say no. Now I only ask for things I really want.

4. I adjusted fine in college with my roommate. Now in the real world though, I've lived alone since 1994.

I was always the grandson and grand daughter growing up (and son/daughter) so I probably experienced a lot more than I might have if I had had siblings.

I would never want to have an only child.
