Not to say that it is right.....But mothers DO buy those shirts for their GROWN daughters AND expect for them to wear them...I've seen it happen
However, I read a few posts back about how there is some pressure to join a specific org. by parents who are in specific orgs.. I can honestly say there is a reasonable amount of disappointment (including some parents) by children of fellow organizations. Because of this, they often feel hurt, "cheated", "betrayed, etc. which can lead to depression. Should they be depressed , probably not...But these circumstances are not unusual especially when you come from a family of "over-achievers", "big shots", etc.... just something to think about
