I can probably take the cake! I went to a community college my first year of school, but helped my best friend move into the dorms at A&M and visited her often. I had HIGH hopes that my roommate experience would be great! (They got matching bedding and coordinated everything!)
When I got to UH, my roommate had not moved in and I didn't see her until about three weeks into school. She was a couple years older than me and had a child. I soon found out that her primary use for our room was her...er...uh...extra-curricular activities? The worst was one night I was working the admission desk until 9pm. I got in and she and her new math tutor were 'studying'. I grabbed my shower stuff and walked down to the bathroom. When I came back she was strattling this guy (that she'd JUST met) in the chair! They WERE clothed, btw. I was embarrassed and told her that I'd be out of her way in a few minutes...she was like "OH, I don't mind!" YUCK! I was out of there. It was so awful, I was out of there at the end of the semester.
I've had more bad roommates than good! My best roommate (a Chi-O) was my last one, and she and I were only able to live together for eight months! We had such a blast, I could've lived there forever!
