She seemed ok when I received a letter from her before school had started and I had mentioned to someone at work that she was a single child and they were like ohhh no that won't be good at all.

Yeah, she did not like to share very well. She would get up hours before class started and talk online, who IMs at 630 am?? She would then proceed to go into the closet and leave the door open with the light on me, slam the door, slam chest of drawers, and then the worst thing in my life, the spraying started. She had spray deoderant, hair spray, hair mist, and more hair products. After 4 minutes the waft of grossness would proceed to wake me up again after trying to sleep. Then when she would leave to go to class an hour before it started she'd let the door slam shut. No she wouldn't quietly close it since I was sleeping, she'd let it slam! I even asked her to please not do that and she yelled something at me!

Even though we didn't get along real well I'd still invite her to get food with me and my friends or go to the movies or play Monopoly with us. Did she return the favor, no! One day she invited a friend up, they proceeded to order pizza right in front of me, not ask if I'd like to have some or pay for something, they ate it, and then since there were leftovers they asked everyone in the hall if they'd want some besides me. Another time she decided to go out for dinner and she deliberatly asked my best friend (suitemate) if her and her boyfriend would like to go, but not me. Rudeness.

She then started to take over the room. She had a butterfly chair. Nice, someone would be able to sit there, but no she kept it open and always kept clothes in it just taking up space. She proceeded to take over the bottom portion of the closet with boxes of who knows what. She built crate-bookshelves all over the room. I tell you, if there was an empty space anywhere in that room, she'd buy something to occupy it. It really sucked when I bought a chair that someone could actually sit in, and I had no where to put it!!!

Worst part of the whole thing is, after freshmen year I didn't know what to do about housing for sophomore year and since she goes through stages of being nice and then being bitchy, during the housing time she was in nice stage so I thought maybe she changed and it could be ok for another year. I missed the hint where she said she didn't want a friend, but a roommate. What a mistake. I was never so miserable. Thank god I got a single for next year. It sucks to live with someone who won't converse with you and is just so rude!
