In the NPC world, it's very difficult if not impossible to get rid of someone once they've accepted a bid - so you have to be selective up front. Sometimes I forget that's not always true in the NIC world.
But if someone's obviously not going to make a good brother, save yourself the trouble and don't bid him in the first place. You have to be selective up front as well as throughout the pledge period.
