Care to explain the Hitler Youth South remark?

I may be being oversensitive, but i believe this comment is WAY out of line. Have you been hangin out with those hippies down in Austin?

I'm assuming this is in reference to our uniformed Corps of Cadets. For your information, Texas A&M YEARLY commissions more officers into the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps than any other ROTC program in the Nation. 225 Aggies have achieved the rank of General or Admiral and 8 Aggies have achieved the HIGHEST award you can recieve the Congressional Medal of Honor. 7 during WWII. 18,000 Aggies served as officers during WWII, more than any other school INCLUDING the United States Military Academy.

I'm sorry to hijack this thread, but that is something i will NOT stand for. Call us backwards, bumpkins, gomers, whatever, but NEVER compare a school as patriotic and devoted to this country as Texas A&M to hitler and the nazis.

BTW, a school like Texas A&M is the only place where STUDENTS can organize something like our Red, White and Blue Out game, which was our tribute to 9-11. Here is a picture of Kyle Field that day
